Camping with us
-
Powered campsites are located on the upper campus, and powered by power poles or points located at the back of the cabin.
-
Unpowered sites are located in the riverside tent sites and border the river. The sites are different sizes - refer to the map and site dimensions below for more information.
-
Camp costs are per person (not by site), so feel free to book one site for multiple groups if you feel you will fit on the site. We don't want people squashed in, but we also want to share the space, so please do not over-book the sites if you feel you will fit on a single site.
-
Internet is available on the upper campus, but the riverside tent sites are off-grid (no internet or mobile phone coverage). You can connect to the wifi at the upper campus.
-
All of the taps on the lawn provide potable water for our guests. There is one by the River Cottage, two near cabins 2 and 4, and one by the laundry. Check the map for location points.
-
We do not have a dump site for RV septic systems, but we can provide a dumping point for grey water waste. Please do not dump your grey water on our grass.
FAQs
Q: Can you drink the water from the taps located around the property?
A: Yes! All of the water passes through our filtration system before it travels to your mouth.
Q: Can my friends visit me when I stay?
A: Yes, they are welcome to stay between the hours of 10am and 10pm. We simply ask that all visitors report to the office on arrival, and for stays over 15m, we request that they pay a day visitor rate of $5 per person, to help cover any additional costs incurred during their visit.
Q: Can we rent a cabin for a few hours?
A: No, we no longer allow any stays less than an overnight stay, due to the costs of short term bookings. You are welcome to book our accommodation for an overnight stay by using the 'BOOK' button in the top menu.
Q: Can I come as a day visitor?
A: No, only visitors of our guests are welcome to be on the property. We want to keep our facilities and space clean and available to our guests. If you are looking for a place to spend time by the river, there are many other alternative places to swim and enjoy the river.
Q: Can we host an event at the holiday park?
A: Yes, but only by prior arrangement and permission. Our holiday park is a family friendly space, and we do not promote parties or loud music out of respect for our other customers (quiet time is from 10.30pm to 7.30am). You are welcome to make an exclusive booking of the whole campsite if you want to host a large event with fewer restrictions.
Q: Can I book the whole campsite?
A: Yes, we welcome exclusive bookings. All of the cabins and tent sites are yours to manage, and there is no quiet time. We also have marquees available to hire and we will set it up and pack it down for you. Feel free to email us if you are considering this option and we can provide more information.
Q: Can I leave my caravan at the holiday park so I can come and go over a period of time?
A: No, we like to keep our sites and spaces available for our visitors, and to maintain our grounds for our guests.
